Be sure to tune in on the morning of Saturday, 19th September when the choir will be singing live on Nick Ahad’s Saturday morning show. There will also be interviews with members of the choir.

The choir is scheduled to sing three separate items at 09.15, 10.15 and 11.15.

Following news reports that famous Welsh choirs are struggling to maintain numbers, the BBC was keen to find out how Steeton has managed to keep its singing membership steady (around 75+!).

The choir is proud and delighted to have been asked to open the entertainment at Sue Ryder’s Proms at the Abbey on Saturday, 12th September. It promises to be a great evening at the spectacular setting of the Priory at Bolton Abbey with live performances also from Sultans of Swing, the Bradford Metropolitan Concert Band, award-winning classical singing duo Carmelina Bagarozza and Kay Langford. In addition, there will be a screening of the final section of the Last Night of the Proms live on a big screen
